The Equation would be --- VP/VS = NP/NS
where:
Vp = is the voltage of the primary winding (220V)
Vs= is the voltage of the secondary winding (12V)
Np = is the number of turns on the primary winding (1000turns)
Ns = is the number of turns on the secondary wnding

Hence we have; Ns = (VsNp)/Vp = (121000)/220 = 54.5 = 55 turns
